Security Supervisor

Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and confidential information at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant hotel, security, or law-enforcement experience; supervisory skills; good knowledge of emergency procedures, access control, incident reporting and local regulations; and strong communication in English. Cantonese and Mandarin are valuable. The successful candidate is expected to lead security officers professionally, monitor CCTV and patrols, respond calmly to incidents, coordinate with police or emergency services when necessary, enforce hotel procedures, and provide courteous assistance to guests. Shift work, weekends and public holidays are normally required, along with physical fitness, sound judgment, integrity and a service-oriented attitude.
