Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality and sales opportunities in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Davao, and other tourism areas. Manila and Bonifacio Global City provide the broadest corporate, hotel, events, and retail markets, while resort islands offer a more relaxed lifestyle and seasonal tourism work. Filipino culture is welcoming, family-oriented, social, and community-minded, with English widely used in business and hospitality. Living costs vary considerably: Manila is more expensive, while provincial and island locations can be cheaper but may have fewer services. Foreign nationals usually need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly arranged with support from the hiring company. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, transport, medical coverage, and relocation assistance before accepting an offer. Weather is tropical, with a dry season and a rainy or typhoon season.
