Penetration Tester

Job Description

The Penetration Tester will identify and assess security weaknesses across ANZ’s applications, systems, networks and digital services. Requirements typically include professional experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and offensive security, along with knowledge of web applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud environments and common attack techniques. Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap and scripting languages is valuable. Relevant certifications, including OSCP, CREST or equivalent, may be preferred. ANZ expects candidates to communicate technical findings clearly, produce high-quality reports, recommend practical remediation, and work collaboratively with technology, risk and security teams. Strong analytical ability, ethical judgment, attention to detail and an understanding of financial-sector security and regulatory obligations are important.
