The Feasibility Studies & Revenue Analyst supports hotel investment and development decisions by assessing market potential, financial feasibility, demand trends, competition, pricing, occupancy and projected revenue. Candidates are generally expected to have a degree in business, hospitality, tourism, finance or a related field, along with experience in hotel revenue management, feasibility analysis, commercial strategy or market research. Strong analytical, financial modelling and reporting skills are important, as well as proficiency in Excel and possibly revenue-management systems. The role requires commercial awareness, attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders. Fluency in Spanish and English is typically valuable, while additional languages and international hospitality experience are advantageous.
Meliá Hotels International is one of Spain’s leading hotel groups and a major international hospitality company. Founded in Mallorca, the group operates hotels and resorts across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean under brands such as Meliá, Gran Meliá, ME by Meliá, INNSiDE by Meliá, Sol and Paradisus. Its portfolio covers luxury, leisure, lifestyle, business and all-inclusive hospitality. Meliá is known for its strong presence in resort destinations, international workforce and focus on guest experience, responsible tourism and digital transformation. The company employs professionals across hotel operations, commercial strategy, finance, technology, development and corporate functions. A feasibility and revenue position would typically support informed decisions about hotel performance, new projects, market opportunities and long-term commercial returns.
Spain’s islands, particularly Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Tenerife, offer strong employment opportunities in hotels, resorts, tourism, restaurants, property, events and travel services. Mallorca is a major hospitality and business centre, while Ibiza is highly seasonal and focused on luxury tourism, nightlife and events. The Canary Islands provide a longer tourism season and opportunities in resort operations and revenue management. Island life offers a mild climate, outdoor activities, beaches and a relaxed social culture, although housing can be expensive and seasonal demand may affect availability. Spanish is useful for daily life and many employers also value English, German or other European languages. EU and EEA citizens can work without a visa, subject to registration requirements. Non-EU candidates generally need a suitable work permit arranged with employer support. Relocation should include planning for accommodation, transport, healthcare registration and local administrative documents.
