Job Description

The Senior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team, maintaining food quality, and ensuring smooth daily operations across the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and events. Responsibilities typically include menu preparation, food ordering, stock control, cost management, kitchen scheduling, hygiene compliance, and coaching junior chefs. Candidates should have substantial experience in a busy hotel, restaurant, or catering kitchen, strong knowledge of food safety and modern culinary techniques, and the ability to lead under pressure. Marriott experience or a recognised culinary qualification is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be organised, hands-on, commercially aware, creative, and committed to consistently high guest-service standards.
