Job Description

The Security Officer protects guests, employees, property and hotel assets while maintaining a welcoming, discreet service. Duties typically include monitoring CCTV, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, controlling access, completing security reports, supporting emergency procedures and liaising with police or emergency services when required. Candidates should be observant, calm under pressure, physically capable and confident communicating with people at all levels. Previous hotel, security, customer-service or emergency-response experience is advantageous. A valid UK right to work, strong English communication skills, professional presentation and flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays are normally expected. Relevant security training or an SIA licence may be required, depending on the duties assigned.
