Job Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas to The London EDITION’s standards. Duties typically include making beds, changing linen, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, reporting maintenance issues, protecting guest belongings and responding courteously to requests. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, good personal presentation, reliability, physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure. Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is helpful but may not be essential. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, along with a positive, discreet and guest-focused attitude. Teamwork, respect for hotel procedures and consistent delivery of a high standard of cleanliness are expected.
