Job Description

The Heart of House Specialist, also known as a Kitchen Porter, supports the hotel kitchen and food-service operation by washing dishes and cooking equipment, maintaining clean and hygienic back-of-house areas, removing waste, receiving or storing supplies, and assisting chefs and stewards when required. Candidates should be reliable, physically fit, organised, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced environment. Attention to food-safety, cleanliness, teamwork, and safe manual handling is essential. Previous kitchen, hotel, or cleaning experience is helpful but may not be essential, as training is generally provided. The successful candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, and legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
