Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking, plating, ordering, stock control, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Candidates should have professional culinary experience, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort, along with sound knowledge of food safety, sanitation, portion control, and kitchen procedures. Formal culinary training is preferred. The role requires leadership ability, organization, creativity, attention to detail, and the confidence to supervise kitchen colleagues during service. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be physically fit, calm under pressure, team-oriented, and committed to delivering consistent dining experiences.
