Job Description

The Butcher prepares, cuts, trims, portions, labels and stores meat, poultry and other food products for the resort’s kitchens. Candidates should have previous butchery or professional kitchen experience, sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to use knives and processing equipment safely. The role requires good portion control, attention to detail, physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a chilled environment. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a clean and organized workstation, reduce waste, follow recipes and specifications, support chefs during busy service periods, and work cooperatively with the wider culinary team. Formal culinary training or food-safety certification is advantageous.
