Job Description

The Overnight Public Area Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas during night hours, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, guest facilities and other shared spaces. Duties may include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, waste removal, replenishing supplies and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, physical stamina and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous hotel, cleaning or customer-service experience is helpful but may not be essential, as training is usually provided. Candidates should be comfortable working overnight, following health and safety procedures, presenting a professional appearance and maintaining guest privacy. Good communication skills and a flexible approach to shifts, weekends and holidays are expected.
