Job Description

The Casual Commis Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining high standards across the hotel’s restaurants and events. Typical requirements include a genuine interest in hospitality, basic food-safety awareness, good organisation and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but entry-level applicants with enthusiasm may be considered. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently during busy periods, maintain excellent hygiene, cooperate with chefs and colleagues, minimise waste and follow Marriott and Sheraton service standards. Flexibility is important, as shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
