Destination Guide

Ireland offers opportunities across hospitality, technology, healthcare, finance, construction, retail and professional services, with Dublin serving as the largest employment hub. Irish workplace culture is generally friendly, informal and collaborative, while reliability, communication and respect for customers are valued. Lifestyle benefits include lively towns, historic sites, music, coastal scenery and easy access to outdoor activities, although Dublin accommodation can be expensive and competitive. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can live and work without an employment visa. Most non-EEA nationals need an eligible employment permit and, where applicable, an entry visa and immigration registration. Hospitality applicants should confirm salary, permit eligibility, accommodation costs, transport and working hours before relocating. Ireland uses English in daily and professional life, making it accessible for international workers. Research tax, healthcare, banking and rental requirements in advance, and allow time to secure suitable housing.
