Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers strong opportunities in SAP consulting, HR technology, cloud services and wider digital transformation, particularly in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Workplace culture is usually professional but relatively informal, with emphasis on teamwork, punctuality, clear communication and work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to quieter coastal and countryside communities; public transport is widely available, though commuting costs can be high. International candidates normally need the right to work, commonly through a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by an eligible employer. Requirements include an eligible occupation, minimum salary rules and English-language evidence, subject to current government regulations. Capgemini may offer relocation support for selected roles, but this should be confirmed during recruitment. New arrivals should budget for rent, council tax, utilities, transport and healthcare-related costs, and arrange accommodation and a National Insurance number after arrival.
