Application Packager

Job Description

The Application Packager is responsible for preparing, testing and deploying software packages across enterprise desktop and end-user environments. Typical requirements include experience creating MSI, MSIX or App-V packages, familiarity with Microsoft SCCM, Intune or equivalent deployment tools, and knowledge of Windows operating systems, PowerShell and software distribution practices. The role may also involve application compatibility testing, troubleshooting installation issues, documenting deployment processes and supporting change management. Capgemini would expect strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, customer focus and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. ITIL awareness, automation experience and security-conscious working practices would be advantageous.
