Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers strong opportunities in consulting, technology, supply chain, finance, healthcare and public services, especially in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Workplace culture is generally professional but relatively informal, with emphasis on punctuality, collaboration, clear communication and work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy metropolitan living to quieter coastal and rural communities, with extensive public transport, cultural attractions and outdoor activities. Living costs are highest in London and the South East. Skilled professionals normally need the appropriate visa, commonly a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by an approved employer; eligibility depends on the occupation, salary and immigration rules in force. Candidates should verify current requirements through GOV.UK. Relocation planning should cover housing, healthcare, tax, banking, transport and right-to-work documentation. Capgemini may offer hybrid working and, depending on the role, relocation or mobility support.
