Job Description

The Hygiene & Sanitation Assistant supports hotel-wide food hygiene, sanitation and health-and-safety standards. Typical responsibilities include conducting hygiene inspections, monitoring cleaning procedures, checking food storage and temperatures, maintaining records, assisting with audits and training colleagues on safe handling practices. Candidates should ideally have experience in hotel operations, food safety, quality control or a related field, with knowledge of HACCP and local hygiene requirements. Good communication, attention to detail, basic computer skills and the ability to work across departments are expected. Relevant food-safety certificates are an advantage. The role requires a practical, organized and proactive approach, including flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
