Job Description

The Environment, Health & Safety Officer is expected to maintain a safe, legally compliant and environmentally responsible hotel operation. Typical requirements include a diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, environmental management or a related discipline, along with recognised HSE certification and relevant hospitality, facilities or construction experience. The candidate should understand UAE health and safety regulations, risk assessments, emergency procedures, incident reporting, fire protection and environmental controls. Strong communication, inspection, training and documentation skills are essential. The role requires regular property inspections, investigation of incidents, coordination with government authorities and contractors, and continuous support for staff safety awareness. A practical, organised and proactive approach, together with the ability to work across departments and respond calmly during emergencies, is expected.
