Job Description

The Chef de Partie – Dim Sum is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dim sum dishes while maintaining Shangri-La’s culinary standards. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, previous experience in a Chinese or dim sum kitchen, knowledge of traditional preparation methods, strong food-safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate is expected to support the Chef de Cuisine, supervise assigned kitchen tasks, maintain cleanliness and stock control, follow recipes and portion standards, and work cooperatively with the wider kitchen team. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required. Experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant is an advantage.
