Chef De Partie (Bakery)

Job Description

The Chef de Partie (Bakery) is responsible for preparing breads, pastries, cakes and other bakery products according to Shangri-La’s recipes and quality standards. Requirements typically include formal culinary training, relevant hotel or bakery experience, knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced professional kitchen. The successful candidate is expected to maintain consistent product quality, follow production schedules, control wastage, keep the work area clean, and support the Demi Chef and Pastry Chef. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays, along with teamwork, attention to detail and a willingness to learn, are important for this role.
