The General Technician supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance team by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms and back-of-house facilities. Duties may include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air-conditioning, painting and equipment repairs, as well as responding promptly to maintenance requests. Candidates should have relevant technical training or hotel maintenance experience, practical troubleshooting skills, good safety awareness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A responsible attitude, customer-service mindset, physical fitness and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected. Knowledge of building systems and relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous.
