Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and assets at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Duties typically include conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, supporting emergency procedures and assisting guests when required. Candidates should have relevant hotel, commercial or security experience, good communication skills and a professional, service-oriented attitude. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit is normally required, while first-aid, fire-safety or customer-service training is advantageous. The role requires alertness, physical fitness, integrity, discretion and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. Cantonese and English are useful, and Mandarin may be an advantage.
