Job Description

The Cook II (Bakery) is responsible for preparing breads, pastries, cakes and other baked products according to Shangri-La standards and approved recipes. Candidates should have culinary or baking training and relevant experience in a hotel, bakery or commercial kitchen. Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, ingredient handling, portion control and basic pastry techniques is expected. The role requires attention to detail, consistency, creativity and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Candidates should be comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays, communicate well with colleagues, follow instructions carefully and maintain a clean, safe workstation.
