Job Description

The Security Supervisor is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include previous experience in hotel, commercial or property security, supervisory ability, good communication skills, sound judgment and knowledge of emergency procedures. Familiarity with CCTV monitoring, access control, incident reporting, fire and life-safety standards is expected. The candidate should be physically fit, dependable, alert and comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. A professional manner, customer-service awareness and the ability to handle sensitive incidents calmly are important. Local security qualifications, relevant licensing and Cantonese, English or Mandarin language skills may be advantageous.
