The group operates hotels, resorts, and related hospitality businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other major destinations. Its properties typically offer accommodation, restaurants, banquet facilities, wellness services, and business or leisure amenities. Shangri-La places strong emphasis on genuine hospitality, service excellence, teamwork, and professional development. In Hong Kong, the company operates well-known luxury properties and provides opportunities across guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, finance, sales, and management. Destination Guide

Hong Kong is a compact, highly connected destination offering strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, finance, retail, technology, and professional services. Hotels and restaurants regularly recruit multilingual staff, particularly candidates with experience serving international guests. The culture combines Chinese traditions with a global outlook, while Cantonese remains the main local language and English is widely used in business and hotels. Life is energetic and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, beaches, hiking trails, and vibrant neighbourhoods. Housing is expensive, so newcomers should compare staff accommodation, shared flats, and districts outside the central areas. Foreign employees normally need an employment visa sponsored by the hiring company before starting work; eligibility depends on qualifications, experience, salary, and a confirmed offer. Applicants should verify visa requirements with Hong Kong Immigration and arrange a passport, medical or background documents if requested, accommodation, insurance, and sufficient funds for the initial relocation period.
