Job Description

The Revenue Optimization Manager is expected to develop pricing, forecasting and inventory strategies that improve hotel occupancy, room revenue and profitability. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in hospitality, business, finance or a related field, plus several years of hotel revenue management experience. Strong knowledge of revenue systems, demand analysis, distribution channels, budgeting and Microsoft Excel is important. The candidate should be commercially minded, analytical and confident working with reservations, sales, finance and hotel operations teams. Clear communication, leadership, attention to detail and the ability to make timely decisions in a competitive market are also expected.
