Shangri-La Group is a leading luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and other international markets. Its properties are known for warm Asian hospitality, high service standards and distinctive dining, wellness and leisure experiences. In the Philippines, Shangri-La operates luxury resorts and hotels, including Shangri-La Boracay, a beachfront property on Boracay Island. The group offers career opportunities across culinary operations, guest services, engineering, finance and management, often within multicultural teams. Employees may receive benefits such as service charge participation, meals, staff accommodation or housing support, medical coverage and training, depending on the property and employment contract. The company places strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, operational excellence, sustainability and the professional development of its colleagues.

Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities in Boracay, Cebu, Palawan, Manila, Bohol and other tourism destinations. Resorts regularly recruit chefs, restaurant managers, front-office staff, spa professionals, engineers and activities specialists, with the strongest demand during peak travel seasons. Filipino culture is friendly, family-oriented and community-minded, and English is widely used in workplaces. Island life can be relaxed and scenic, but living costs, transport and access to specialist services vary considerably between destinations. Boracay provides beaches, restaurants and an active tourism scene, while smaller islands offer a quieter lifestyle. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work visa or permit, commonly involving Department of Labor and Employment authorization and immigration processing; requirements can change, so professional advice is recommended. Employers may assist with documentation, flights, accommodation and relocation. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, housing, medical benefits, contract length and leave entitlements before accepting an offer.
