Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and business operations. Typical duties include monitoring entrances and surveillance systems, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing hotel security procedures, preparing reports and assisting during emergencies. Candidates should generally have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, physical fitness, sound judgment and a professional service attitude. First-aid, fire-safety or security training is advantageous. The role requires reliability, integrity, alertness, confidentiality and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates should be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, and communicate effectively in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin may be preferred in Hong Kong.
