Job Description

The Security Supervisor supports the Security Manager in protecting guests, colleagues, property and company assets at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Typical requirements include several years of hotel, hospitality, security or law-enforcement experience, supervisory capability, good communication skills and knowledge of emergency procedures, access control, incident reporting and local regulations. First-aid, fire-safety or security-related qualifications are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead and brief security officers, monitor CCTV and patrols, respond calmly to incidents, investigate reports, assist guests professionally and maintain accurate records. Flexibility is essential because the role normally involves rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays and overnight duty. Strong judgment, integrity, physical fitness, discretion and a service-oriented attitude are important.
