Job Description

The OP Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing and analyzing outpatient medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures. Requirements include a certification in medical coding (such as CPC or CCS), proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems, and a minimum of 2 years of coding experience. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is also expected.
