**Job Summary** The role is centered on ensuring the welfare and comfort of assigned clients under your supervision, adhering strictly to the company’s policies and procedures. The position demands a high level of client interaction and the ability to handle various duties effectively. **Duties** The responsibilities include preparing information materials such as island hopping itineraries, vouchers, excursion leaflets, and brochures as required by the La Digue Office. You will be tasked with meeting and greeting clients upon arrival and departure at the airport, establishing personal contact with all assigned clients, and supervising the loading of luggage for transfer to respective hotels. The role involves assisting clients with holiday, hotel, and travel arrangements, which includes settling complaints in liaison with hotel or Duty Managers, reconfirming flights with airlines, and selling company excursions. Visiting all assigned clients at least three times per week is mandatory. Staying updated with service changes and handling procedures for American Express is crucial. You will liaise with Heads of Departments concerning transfer schedules, pick-up times, arrival and departure details, excursion schedules, and procedures governing overseas Tour Operators. The role also involves promoting and selling the company’s excursions and services, issuing company vouchers for sales including car hire, yacht charter, and deep-sea fishing. When required, you will accompany clients on excursions and undertake administrative duties such as maintaining records, filing service orders or memos, and keeping informational material in stock. Maintaining a daily record of clients’ movements is essential. Liaising with the Accounts Department for sales transactions and assisting with other duties such as Hostess at hotel desks, Guide, or Airport Assistant when necessary are also part of the role. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed. **Education (Knowledge)** A Certificate or Diploma in Tourism, with O level proficiency in English and French, is required. Knowledge of a third language is desirable. **Training (Skills)** The position requires a good knowledge of Seychelles products, computing skills, public relations skills, research skills, and an extensive understanding of the destination in all its aspects. Familiarity with different markets is also beneficial. **Experience** A minimum of one year of related working experience is required. **Personal Characteristics** Candidates should be pleasant, possess good PR skills, be dynamic, and capable of working under pressure. A good team spirit, punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work with minimum supervision are essential traits for this role.
